TARDIS watercolor galaxy pseudo-French tip manicure
Phew, that title’s a doozy.
Anyway, on to the boring, technical stuff. I used this watercolor manicure tutorial from Bellezza Bee, but modified it slightly to get the look I wanted. I’ll probably do my own walkthrough at a later date, after I’m finished with the decal tutorial, which has been photographed and just needs a write up. Probably after Thanksgiving, when my schedule clears up more.
Thankfully, though, I had just enough time to get to the theater on Monday with Amanda and Kelsey to see the 50th anniversary special in 3D. Typically, I’m not a fan of seeing stuff in 3D because it’s expensive, and because most movies are a sham and don’t utilize it to its potential. If I wanted to see a person standing in front of another person in 3 dimensions, I’d just go outside. But I digress. Seeing Doctor Who in 3D was definitely worth it! The paintings were especially cool to see, and the extras made me laugh. Why can’t Strax tell us movie theater etiquette, and the Doctors tell us to put on our 3D glasses in every movie?
Anywho, I hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving if you celebrate it. Or Hanukkah, if you celebrate that. Or just have a good Thursday!
And lastly, happy 50th Doctor Who!
